The Hercules DS551B Sousaphone Stand's locking pins and center knob allow for compact folding which makes this stand highly portable. Just flip the upper post onto the base and tighten the center screw. Then pull down on the 2 support arms until the pins lock into place. This unique all-in-one design folds compactly. This stand also has a folding yoke that sets up and packs down in seconds using a secure pin. The yoke is covered with Specially Formulated Foam (SFF) rubber to protect your instrument's finish. Heavy-duty tubing and structure plus tripod legs for added stability.
